The layer of aluminum prevents the transfer of moisture, oxygen, UV light and odor. Plastic heat shrink material is permeable and can essentially breathe allowing small amounts of moisture in. When it is necessary to eliminate this moisture, using an aluminum foil barrier is the way to go.

Our staff has the experience to properly size and seal the aluminum barrier foil around your sensitive products. Before the final seal of material, a vacuum is used to reduce the amount of moisture and ambient air inside of the package. Most products that we foil seal are of high value and have electronic components that are sensitive to corrosion from even condensation that can accumulate inside of a crate during storage or transit.
